The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is dedicated to providing quality customer-oriented, full-service programs and accurate, timely information to the entrepreneurial community. The SBA provides financial assistance in the form of loan guaranties rather than direct loans. The SBA does not provide grants to start or expand a business. The SBA provides an extensive presence on the Internet and it is worthwhile to investigate their many programs and services.
